a.) looking TOTALLY strung out on coke
b.) sucking face with one of the contestants
What's up with that? She didn't act up on Password Plus.
Just an observation.

Who the heck is she, anyway? I tried looking her up on the Internet Movie
Database, and there wasn't anything there on her. All I can remember her for
is game shows, is that all she's every done? If so, how did she get on them
in the first place?

Debralee Scott was on the tv show "Angie" on ABC....I believe the show was
about an angel coming to earth.....Donna Pescow (who was also on MG a few
times) starred...Cat

Ya know? I had thought maybe I was a bit harsh with you regarding
your Match Game questions...but I now see how your mind works and I
clearly wasn't harsh enough...
You don't know the woman...you've never met the woman. To make such
insulting comments about her is just ridiculous. Last time I checked,
using drugs (which you have NO evidence of) doesn't make a person a
slut. Kissing happy contestants doesn't make one a slut either. You
need to look at your subject line and then maybe look in the mirror
and decide if you are such a perfect upright person before you make
such harsh judgements like that.

If I ever host a Con, remind me never to invite you.

nope, no angel premise, just a sitcom about a poor girl (Angie, played by
Pescow, who was in "Saturday Night Fever " BTW) who meets and marries a rich
man. Debralee played her sister.
Debralee was on "Welcome Back Kotter" as "Hotsy Totsy" I believe.
She co-starred in the controversial parody soap "Mary Hartman Mary
Hartman" in the late 1970s.

Hmmm, Deborah Scott, is this the same woman that was in the last
position in The Riddlers Pilot?
I am sorry, I ofter wonder what in that cranium of hers at times -
needless to say, she is not one of my favorites.

I will refrain from comment here, but back to the slut thing . . .
Calling her a slut is going a bit far, a slut to me is a promiscuous
women.
Perhaps I shouldn't have said what I did about her to, but her attitude
on the shows didn't appeal to me, and this was reinforced while watching
PW+ this weekend.

Hi Ryan,
anyways, back to your question.....
Debralee played oppposite Donna Pescow on the show "Angie" in the late 70's
,early 80's. They used to show it on Nik at Nite. She played Angie's little
sister who actually was a little promiscuous. I think she just has that "look"
. Didn't most girls act and look like that back then...hmmm..

The "angel coming back to Earth" show was "Out of the Blue", which actually
does have something in common with "Angie": a child actress went from
"Angie" (she played Angie's husband's niece, I think) to "OOTB" (where she
was one of the children in the show's main family).
>Debralee was on "Welcome Back Kotter" as "Hotsy Totsy" I believe.
She was also in "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" as Mary's sister - who was,
for lack of a better word for it, a "slut" (when she got pregnant, she
searched for four different men who could have been the father). Not
exactly a lot of "nice girl" roles...

Wasn't she the first celebrity to have a $10,000 win on the daytime MG?
(And on a not-exactly-a-giveaway clue, either: "New York ___ (Times)")
Richard Dawson and Gene Wood showed up at the restaurant that Angie was
waitressing at in Philadelphia [where the series was set in].
Angie recognized them, obviously, and they told her that FF was going to
tape a set of episodes in Philly. Angie's family got on the show....but so
did the rich in-laws that she married into.
I won't go into detail exactly what happened, because I don't recall, but
because "Angie" was only on for parts of two seasons on ABC [1979-80], I
wouldn't count on it being rerun.
Footnote: Before the episode originally aired, ABC had to run a disclaimer
stating that the part of the plot dealing with FF was scripted, not real.
They didn't do that with "The Odd Couple" episodes featuring Allen Ludden
and Monty Hall, but that was the early '70s, and this was the late
'70s/early '80s.

I think they did this because there was a Celebrity Family Feud shown the
next night, and they wanted to make sure nobody got confused (for example,
somebody may have heard about the celebrity special and thought they were
referring to the "Angie" episode).

It went something like "The FAMILY FEUD game shown in tonights episode was
entirely scripted, and the winners determined in advance"
