Jeopardy Champion Ken Jennings has been caught cheating and it could
end up costing him a huge chunk of his prize money, according to
sources.
Jennings, a 30 -year-old Utah software engineer added another $30,000
to his total during his 36th appearance on Wednesday, bringing his
total winnings to $1,194,660. However, Jennings may lose at least half
of that over allegations that he cheated.
Officials with the game show Jeopardy, as well as host Alex Trebek and
Jennings himself refused to comment on the allegations. The Washington
Post quoted a high profile source with the show as saying, "We've
suspected Jennings was cheating for the past two weeks, but we were
asked by our production company (SONY) to keep a lid on it".
An attorney representing Ken Jennings' wife released the following
statement to the media over the allegations:
"Mrs. Jennings has been devastated by the news the her husband has
been caught cheating on 'Jeopardy'. I've been instructed by my client
to file divorce papers immediately and my client will also be seeking
half of Mr. Jennings' current and future winnings."
Jennings, according to one source was caught in an act of passion with
a make-up artist on the set of Jeopardy two weeks ago.
Does webtv make you impervious to seeing something as a nonserious
comment, a joke?

He and Evie soon fell into a conversation of the "No, I didn't; yes, you
did" type--conversation which, though fascinating to those who are
engaged in it, neither desires nor deserves the attention of others.
