Now that Vanna will soon be turning 41 (on Feb. 18 to be exact) and has
in my opinion never looked better, does anyone know how long her
contract for WOF lasts? I think she'll continue to become ever more
lovely for a great many years to come -- anyone else share that view?

Why would they let Vanna leave? She is one of the main attractions to tv's #1
syndicated show. With the new board, they really do not NEED a hostess to
perform the task of turning letters. Of course her great looks and personality
are major reasons for WoF's success. 41 is not old. Look how gracefully
Janice Pennington has aged on TPiR over the past 25 (NOT 26!) years. In my
humble opinion, she is still the prettiest o Barker's Beauties

*giggle* "...I'm not fat, I'm festively plump!"

Anyway, I would assume that Vanna's still going to be on until the contracts
for stations run out.
If I'm not mistaken, tho', either the Enquirer or another tabloid rag had once
stated that Vanna was going to be replaced.... by who?

Cyber Lucy.

I thinketh the rag got the wires crossed, probably thinking that Cyber Lucy was
gonna host WoF, not W2K...

Oh well....

And speaking of Vanna White, she was only 23 when she appeared on TPIR
in 1980...odd that CBS didn't recruit her.

Sometimes their stories come totally out of thin air: two or three years ago,
they broke the news that Kathie Lee was going to be fired and Regis would
continue the show with a new co-host -- Vanna White.

In the immortal words of Paul Reiser, "Not gonna happen, my friend" (which
wouldn't be a bad WOF puzzle itself).

If we're gonna go on the record about NBC shows and WoF puzzles... how about:

"Y_DD_ Y_DD_ Y_DD_"

or

"N_ S__P F_R Y__!"

or, most recently:

"N_ M_R_ N_L _N N_C... :("
