The April 4th online edition of the New York Daily News is running the
following story:

Jimmy Kimmel is out as Ben Stein's sidekick on Comedy Central's "Win Ben
Stein's Money" and will be replaced by Nancy Pimental, a writer on "South
Park," the network announced yesterday. Kimmel will be around until
September.

Old news - it's been general knowledge here since January. And the
story is a little deceptive - "Jimmy Kimmel out" implies that he was
removed from the show by the producers. He left of his own volition,
and his leaving was unanticipated by the producers.

Well, someone had posted here not long ago that they attended a taping of WBSM
and that Nancy was already there (and had taped several episodes already)

They must have taped a lot of these eps. with Jimmy in advance if they're
planning on running them through September.

I think it was mentioned that Jimmy's last episode would air sometime in
Mid-July.

There is a long lead time between taping and airing. I taped an

appearance on Feb. 10th (Nancy Pimental was already on the job and
apparently had been for some time), and they said that it probably would
not air until sometime in Sept. or Oct.

They advised us of Jimmy's impending departure when I auditioned for
WBSM in February, and warned us that Nancy was just as mean.
