You can refer to any game show. I'm really looking for your opinions as far
as these go:
1) GS's where the stars are directly playing (like Password in its many
versions; Celeb Bullseye; Chain Reaction; Pyramid; etc.)
2) GS's where the stars are in a panel of sorts (Match Game, Hollywood
Squares, MG/HS, All Star Blitz, etc.)
J.F.
Dr. Joyce Brothers on Match Game in the 70s. She knew how to play the
game, but she didn't know to "play the game". Her answers always made
sense, but they weren't funny.

Best: Jack Klugman on "Pyramid"
Worst: there were a few "first time" players on "Match Game" (the 1970s
version) that deservedly never made it back a second time, but
no names spring to mind...

For worst, how about "everybody who ever appeared on 'All-Star Anything
Goes'"?
Match Game - Charlene Tilton
Sally Struthers
Brad Garrett (he got annoying after a while)
Jack Klugman
HS - Brandon Tartikoff (he was on the JD version)
Tom Kennedy (I have him on a tape of a Peter Marshall
version, and he's not too witty... great host, but, should stay on
the other side of the podium.)
Rhyme or Reason - JP Morgan
NOW, to the good Players...
Password - Lucille Ball, Garry Morton, Desi Jr., Lucy Jr., Bowzer
Match Game - Richard Dawson, CNR, Vicki Lawrence
MG/HS - Arsinio Hall
Rhyme or Reason - Dicky Dee, and Lee Meryweather
Hollywood Squares - Joan Rivers
That's my $100 ($CDN, which, after everything is said and done, is only
worth $0.02 american.)
