MY VIEW: On The Pearson pilots.

Here's one thing that most of you have been wating for


Yes I never saw the pilots but from what I heard they didn't go good AGAIN

Match Game- Well I Guess Michael Burger is the "Only" host for the revival. I
would choose him as host over Ross Shafer ANYDAY. One thing he saids he's doing
is getting me mad. He said the show is going to be a sort-of "Carbon Copy" of
the 70's verison with set,Music,and even Microphone

If you look at how the Dating/Newlywed Hour is doing with this type of Format I
would'nt dream about W WOR Moving the show from Noon to 2:30 Am (WWOR has
picked up first season of MG).I would say the show would do better if they
didn't follow this Path ( Well You could Improve The Theme to a sort-of TNPIR
94 format)

Mike.. What Someone said to Dave Letterman "That was Johnny's show Johnny was
the only one who had Johnny's show, all your going to get is scraps)


Family Feud 97
I think this is what upset's me the most especialy after watching E!'s Story on
Ray Coombs. Pick Dolly Parton as host is not only an insult to him but to
Richard Dawson and Mark Goodson. Dolly is a very tallented Actress and singer
but I would never picture her as host. I was excited to hear that Gordon Elliot
may host but now he's doing a remake of "Let's Make A Deal" set to air in April
or the Fall. I think that's the best paring in the Game Show world since Bob
Eubanks and "Carrrrrrd Sharks!!". He will do such a job so good he may scare
Mr. Springer Mrs. Walters and Mr. Barker away from their viewers.

Pearson,do us a favor Bring Back Match Game and Tattle Tales this year and
think about Reviving Family Feud and Card Sharks Next year.......Anyone Wanna
Host??

TattleTales Would work Better if the contestant Play for 1 day only.
Notice I said "Contestants" not "Celebrities" with all these Rosie Clones it
will be very very hard to find Stars.

After seeing what happened to Feud in 1994, I wouldn't mind seeing a MG true to
the original. I don't want a computer generated Super Match board or anything.

If you never saw the pilots, then I don't think you're even close to qualified
to comment on them.

I must agree. A Match Game similar to that from 1973-82 should
return...BUT...the scoring displays should be LED segments. It was
romoured that those breadbox displays use a lot of "juice" and can get
hot!

Some people who you least expect turn out to be some of the best hosts.
Ever stop to think of another talented singer who got a job hosting a
game show? The producer took a big risk by selecting him, because he
never hosted a show prior to his first series. He turned out to be quite
successful in the game show business. His name is Chuck Woolery, and he
hosted a show called Wheel of Fortune.
