LOS ANGELES (AP) - For game show host Bob Eubanks, there's one moment on ``The
Newlywed Game'' that will be hard to match.

In an interview in Monday's Los Angeles Times, Eubanks recalled asking a
contestant to remember something her husband told her not to talk about.

``She answered that her husband and her cousin were going to kill her uncle for
the insurance money,'' Eubanks said. ``I was shocked, but even more taken aback
when the husband returned and matched the answer.''

He didn't elaborate on whether the conversation was a joke or if there was any
criminal investigation.

Eubanks has been a TV game show host since the mid-1960s.

I happened to hear about this story last Tuesday about TNG's Bob Eubanks on a
morning radio show in Cleveland (WDOK 102.1 FM) as I was driving to work. Very
hilarious to hear about during their own Hollywood entertainment news
segment!!!

In addition to watching TNG eps from 1979, 1985, 1997, and the 1998-99 season,
a recent Bob Eubanks sighting has got to be his most hilarious appearance on
USA's "Happy Hour" (w/ the Zappa brothers) back on 7/3/99. Other well-known
celebs appearing w/ Bob Eubanks:
Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Tanya Roberts, Heather Tom, Beth Broderick, and others
that I don't remember.
