Wow! Thanks for the list. Fred Foy I know from "The Lone Ranger." The
others (except the DuMont guys) I'm sure I would recognize if I heard
them. Do you remember when Dick (Danger Will Robinson!!!!) Tufeld
subbed on "Celeb. Sweepstakes"? He made the show sound like it was the
Oscars or something. Almost too good.

He was the announcer for the one syndie nighttime season of "Celeb Sweeps."

Given his delivery, I was wondering if Ernie Anderson (ABC,?) ever did
any game show announcing (in addition to regular staff announcing
duties) ?

Ernie announced Break the Bank in 1976.

If you're thinking of Ernie Anastos, I think he was the announcer for Break the
Bank 1976 on ABC.
