It runs Saturday nights from 7 to 10pm on Univision, for those who care.

On that note, is "El Gran Juego De La Oca" still being aired? I used to
love watching that show while I still lived in NY (couldn't understand most
of it, but it was cute to watch). Does anyone have (or can anyone get) me a
couple of eps of that show? I've got plenty of game shows for trade, or I'd
be willing to pay for the tape/shipping cost if nothing is of interest.
I was surfing last Saturday night, and came across this show playing a
game--I don't speak Spanish so I don't know exactly what was going on,
but it involved picking numbers on a game board combined with the
DEALER'S CHOICE horse race. Each number lit up on the board either a
car, a boat, or a monster-like creature, moving alone one of those along
a race track, and whichever one got to the end of the track(six spaces)
was the prize won...the car was a Honda Civic and the boat represented a
cruise. The player got the monster there first, and won $3000--each pick
on the board was worth $500.

I've also seen a game on that show that (based on a limited knowledge of
Spanish) appears to have been "borrowed" from Card Sharks. (Of course,
the Florida Lottery is also borrowing the higher-or-lower concept for
one of its "Flamingo Fortune" game show elements.)

Another one I remembered for the car:
3 Strikes, or, Tres Equis (no, the beer's *Dos Equis* ;P)
Spell "Gigante" before the three strikes are drawn and you win a car. Whee :).
There's also been a Liar's Club take off, a TTTT take off, High Rollers (as
posted before), and so on. Haven't seen a PYL one yet, tho. :P

Donde esta Maxtor? :P
I thought that SGI, at first, "stole" all the formats....
However, am I right in saying that, like all other foriegn game shows, they're
fremantled?
Or.... since the games are modified (i.e. 2 sets of 1 through 6 to kill instead
of 1 through 12 to win a car), do they get away with that?
SGI's done a lot of takeoffs..... However, it's a fun show. :)
Not Oca, though!!!!!!! :)

So, DO WE consider SGI a game show? If so, I'll probably consider adding an ep
or two to my collection.
