These came from me (except J! & MG '90), so I should tell you that WTKR Channel 3
is a CBS affiliate, and WVEC Channel 13 is an ABC affiliate. I also have one
addition: 50 Grand Slam premiere, KNBC 4 Los Angeles.

<< INTRODUCTION >>
I originally got the idea for this list from an old thread on
alt.tv.game-shows where someone asked if certain game show episodes on the
trading circuit came from Game Show Network. Somehow, the discussion went from
just asking about GSN to asking where the many copies of original broadcasts
came from, and we started naming stations mentioned on the tapes (by
commercials, station IDs, etc.). So I thought it would be a good idea to start
a list for the newsgroup that names the known origins of shows in our tape
collections, especially the ones that came from networks, independent channels,
studio masters, or cable reruns.
The list is arranged by station call letters, each of which contains the
names of the shows along with any notable facts about the episode(s). I mostly
want to classify the non-GSN tapes we have, but if GSN reruns come from a
notable occasion (a special marathon, a Wide World of Games, etc.) I may want
to mention that. I will also accept origins for audio-only tapes and cable
reruns.
Any comments, suggestions, additions, and/or corrections can be made to
either JFabi...@aol.com, Rutge...@aol.com or jfab...@eden.rutgers.edu. If
you wish to include the list on your website, just ask!
