Everyone, was this clip the famous clip I have heard so much about? The one that Bob Eubanks claims doesn't exist. The one where the contestant is asked the question and she says something to the affect "Up the butt, Bob", but given the fact that it was buzzed it was probably more vulgur.

Just making sure this was the same episode I am thinking of LOL

While I can't answer it (I don't get GSN), I can say that I believe the
contestant said "IN the butt, Bob". Heh, and Eubanks still denies it to this
day...

It's quite weird how the adolescent mind works.

The actual line is: In the a**?
But it so heavily bleeped that you absolutely cannot tell.

As Todd put it, it's a bummer...

And now we have confirmation that this actually happened. Based on
lip-reading, I would agree that she said ass, not butt.

That's what it was (you have to go through it a couple of times and be able
to read lips). Nobody really knows if that particular episode was where the
urban legend originated. Others had thought that there was an earlier (ABC)
episode where the "in the butt" phrase was actually used.

Would you really expect that NOT to be bleeped?

Note: The text above was written by me, not by Andy. Better attention could
have been paid to the fine art of quoting correctly.

Anyway, I guess I'm used to the modern style of bleeping, where you can
usually tell what is being said, despite the bleep. Wonder if they could
re-do the tape, with a modern style bleep.

Sorry about the quoting.
