After the first contestant's 5 questions: 178 (of the needed 200).
After the 2nd contestant's first 2 questions: 194.
Final score: 199. The 2nd contestant's scores were 0, 16, 3, 2, 0 (both
0's came on passes). I guess she was playing a bit too laid-back?
This ain't a Cubs-ish kind of choke job, it's the Yankees kind. Have
you ever seen anything like that?

I've seen contestants get 199 over here in the US Version. However the
show you talk about is the most drastic heartfelt way of losing. That's
terrible. I always enjoyed Ray Combs when he used to host. He would say
funny things during "Fast Money". For example if one team member scored 200
points all on their own, Ray would tell everyone to be quiet and then have
the 2nd Fast Money contestant come out without telling them their family had
already scored 200 points. Then Ray would proceed to ask them the 5 most
assinine questions you could think of. Things such as...
"What did I eat for Breakfast this morning?
"What Number comes between 3 and 5?
"How many Woodchucks would a woodchuck chuck if a wouldchuck could chuck
wood?"
You get the idea. Completely hilarious! At that point the contestant would
just start cracking up and realize that something was up!
On the occasions where the last "Fast Money" contestant needed more than 100
points on their last question.... Ray would say..... " Well it all comes
down to this. You need 129 points to win. Now let's see what happens. I just
want to warn you that if 129 people out of a survey of a 100 match your
answer........ Then we're all going to JAIL". LOL.
Ray Combs was the coolest.
