I don't know if this theory had been brought up before...but is it
logical that perhaps given the suggestive nature <for 1980 anyway> of
the 'blow/suck' puzzle along with George Peppard's rant against the NBC
security procedures, NBC decided to pre-empt that episode of P+ and air
instead the next one beginning with the G.P./contestant Alphabetics
round, hence the 'The program <episode> originally schedueled for this
time has been pre-empted' voice over?
