I recall somebody on 21 last year getting a high value question (I think it
was 8 or 9) of who the Canadian Prime Minister was. To my amazement, IIRC,
they got the answer right. (Jean Chretien)

If you take a look at the episode tape, you will see the question was
written as follows, in both the question space and the sidebar (reveal the
right order) space:
Put these U.S. Presidents in order of their of birth, starting with the
earliest.
[Notice "of their of".] I'm wondering, would this give the remaining eight
contestants the right to demand another try on the show?
From Glendale Heights, everybody ... Good night!

Given that they haven't given people another chance on questions where
some of us here felt there were very serious questions as to the
accuracy of the answer, I would have to say no. In this case, the
misprint doesn't seem to affect the decision-making process.
I don't have a problem with it being a $250K question. While knowing all
the provinces in and of itself would be a few notches lower, the fact
that you also have to eliminate the territories justifies the high
placement. Or maybe I'm just saying that because *I* got it wrong,
having named all ten provinces and 1 territory (thinking it was a
province) and deciding I had missed one.
BTW, given my recent bellyaching about unfair questions, I should not
that Regis properly clarified the question by explicitly stating that
the territories do not count toward the total. While the question would
have been valid even without that clarification, I still think it's
better to give the clarification, so kudos in this case.
