How often did G-T reuse contestants, anyway?

I can't answer that question. Both of those game shows were on CBS, which
should have had some limits on a contestant's game show appearances.

Quite frequently:
- Mark O'Connor, who was on the Card Sharks premiere in 1978, appeared on MG
PM a year later
- Royce ?, who was on the CS premiere week, also appeared on MG PM a year
later
- Laurie Goss, who was on the original CS, also appeared on the MG-HS
premeire week
- Marla Schwartz (author of Be a TV Game Show Winner) who was on the syndie
MG, appeared on Child's Play in 1982
...and I'm sure there are more.
Chuck Donegan (The Illustrious "Chuckie Baby")
Eileen Grace, a one game champ on MG 77 was later on Password Plus it's first
week on the air. Also from the first couple weeks of Password Plus was Leland
(his last name escapes me) who was later an undefeated champ on Blockbusters I
think.
Some MG contestants on other shows that weren't G-T, include Barbara Goldsmith
(MG 74 and then the second to fourth shows of BTB in 76), and Linda Bigot, a
loser on the last CBS TJW, and a loser on MG PM, circa 1978.
Eric Paddon
Also, there was a woman whose name escapes me (I want to say her name
was Linda, but I'm not totally sure) who did both CS and PASSWORD PLUS
within about a year from each other, and both appearances aired on GSN
within a couple of weeks of one another last year.

Before you buy.
Leland Yung. Add Kandi Doyle, who also went undefeated on her first 10 game
stint on Blockbusters, to the list of people on both Password Plus and BB.
Some other people that have appeared on multiple G-T/MGP shows include
Dautie (???), who was on the Child's Play pilot and was an undefeated champ
on Body Language plus a few people who had a gap of 10+ years between
appearances, Karis (???), who was on Blockbusters in '87 and Match Game 2
years ago and Randy West, who was on What's My Line and as an imposter on To
Tell the Truth 10 years ago, as well as several other shows.
There was also this lady named Jenny Jones, who was on the syndicated Match
Game, TPiR, and Press Your Luck. I wonder whatever happened to her...:-)

Don't forget about Tommy Simmons, who was on MG 76, Name That Tune in '84
(who couldn't forget his flashy outfits?), and Face the Music.

When was she on TPiR? I remember her PYL appearance and her MG appearance on
GSN.

I would assume GT had prospective contestants audition for all shows(save for
the modern TPIR, where the audition is a 10 second talk with Phil Wayne Rossi).
I believe there were two contestants who competed together on two different
shows, Super Password and Blockbusters87.
And I think I remember seeing a good-looking young lady named Vanna one time on
TPiR. I wonder if she's done any more game shows?

I wanna say 1980. It was mentioned in one of her books, which I briefly
looked at at a Barnes and Noble earlier this summer. Other than the year,
the only thing I remember reading is she won $6000 in the Showcase Showdown.
