90 minute WWTBAM on Thursday?

IIRC from August phone QUalifying, they said there'd be a 90 minute show to
bring back a contestant from a previous show, starting at the $100 question. I
would assume it was the actual winner of the erroneous fastest finger question
from a few months back, regarding putting four movies in order of release. They
had the order incorrectly.

Tomorrow night, set those VCRs for a repeat of the May sweeps special, behind
the Scenes at WWTBAM, I think 10PM EST.

If you're in the Pacific time zone, then you most definitely will see it
at 8:30 p.m. And if you're in the Eastern time zone, you'll see it at
8:30 p.m. It's not live.
I thought ABC's web site said they were airing the top two WLiiA?
episodes that were voted on their web site, but that doesn't really work
with the 90-minute WWTBAM.

Did anybody else think Wayne Brady and the lunch lady should've won?
I mean, his embarrassment at what he said that night was absolutely
genuine, and made me respect his talents and his personality even
more.

Ooh. Gotta share a funny story that makes the above incident even
better.
(As told by both Wayne and Colin in different interviews:) Wayne and
Colin were eating lunch someplace when Lee (the lunch lady) came up and
told them how much she enjoyed their work on "Whose Line is it Anyway?".
The performers thanked her, and asked if she was going to be in the
audience of that night's taping. She responded that she wasn't, but they
told her she should, and she agreed. Right before she left, she asked
Wayne, "Are you a Christian?" Wayne responded in the affirmative, and
Lee said that he looked like a Christian, and she noticed how he never
swore or anything on the show (this means that Lee wasn't such a HUGE
fan). Wayne thanked her and she left, off to get tickets for the taping
(this was when tapings weren't immediately booked out).
I guess Colin and Wayne told the other performers about it in passing
before the show started. I don't know if Drew knew exactly which woman
in the audience was Lee, but he managed to pick her, and the rest is,
well, history. The next time they air it, watch the reactions of the
performers when Drew announces that Wayne has to sing to this Christian
woman as a strip-o-gram. It makes it even better.
Oh, by the way, as to what should have won the viewers' vote. The reason
the premiere episode won is because ABC has only been rerunning the
season two episodes, despite the availability of hilarious season one
episodes as well. In fact, ABC has rerun several specific season two
episodes multiple times to the point of exhaustion (the "Africa is a
country" incident springs immediately to mind). The Whosers, realizing
that this could be the last chance to see a season one episode,
organized a voting campaign to make the premiere the winner. So it
became a battle between the folks on the Whoser messageboard trying to
make the premiere win, and the folks on the ABC messageboard trying to
make the "Wayne lifts Melissa's skirt" episode win (from season two). As
is the case with all online polls, it came down to who erased cookies
and clicked on the voting button the most times.
