TPIR Yolanda Bowersly losing her top in 1977.

This was the most talked about incident in TPIR history has Bob refered to.

Yolanda was wearing a tube top and when she was called to come on down at the
beginning of the show her top gave way exposing her breasts! CBS covered this
with a blue bar but she didn't realize it until a lady whispered what had
happened so she ducks down for an adjustment but it doens't end there.

Bob then comes thru the doors not knowing what had just happened and the
audience was still reacting to the incident.

Bob: My goodness thank you very much. Welcome to The Price Is Right!
Johnny: (Laughing) Hey Bob!
Bob: What is all this? These people have taken leave of their senses! I've
never had a welcome like this. Now just a minute. I have a feeling that this is
not legitimate. I know you truly love me but you don't really love me this much
do you?
Johnny: Bob they have giving their all to you.
Bob: Yes. I want to know did Karen Rusic have anything to do with this?
Johnny: Oh no.
Bob: You see all the people in the show took hepititis shots and I gave Karen
her shot and it wasn't a complete success so she's been trying to do something
ever since. But whatever brought this on, Johnny this is the way I want every
day from now on.

I wonder what embarrased Yolanda more; her breats coming out for everyone to
see, or the fact that she was flat chested and didn't have that much to "come
on out"?! Probably Both!!! :-D

It seems odd that Bob had no idea what was going on. One the 1980 ep. with
Vanna White as a contestant, he stated that there were TV monitors backstage
that showed the program as it was being recorded.
Was Bob not paying attention to what was going on, or did he really know about
it and acted like he didn't so he wouldn't embarrass Yolanda any more than she
was already? Inquiring minds want to know! :-D

What was all that about? Did Bob really give Karen her hepatitis shot or was
this all a joke of some sort? If not, how did she get brought into this
comment anyway? Knowing Bob, who knows! BTW, her name is Karen Russak, not
Rusic.

Typical Bob-- he REALLY enjoys being in the limelight! :-D

I suppose that this means Bob found out about Yolanda's mishap during the
commercial break, if he had not known about it already! All in all, perhaps
THE most memorable TPIR ep. of all time! How could anyone possibly forget?!
:-)

Any thoughts?

And not repost the entire damn article while you're at it, too.

I remember the good old days when you didn't have fancy newsreaders like
Microsoft Outlook Express and Forte Agent... I remember when you used PINE to
read your e-mail and RNEWS to read the newsgroups... and you had to know a
little UNIX to get onto the Internet... and the backspace didn't actually
backspace in the text editors when replying... and the fact that most people
that posted to Usenet actually knew how to edit quoted text properly... :)
