I am a sophomore in high school, and today we were reviewing for a final
exam in our World Cultures class to be taken Friday. The class was
divided up into groups of 6 to write questions to review with, and our
teacher said we could come up with a game if we so desired. :)
So my group, who included a couple other minor game show fans, started
writing up questions. But I wasn't satisfied with just questions. I was
thinking, what could we do? And a show on a tape that I recently got
from trading popped into my head...and the name of the game was GO!
I told everyone in our group how to play the game, and they all thought
it was cool, so the whole class ended up playing Go! using review words
as clues. Sort of. There were five rows in the classroom, so what we did
was have the person in the back seat in each row turn around so they
couldn't see the word I wrote on the chalkboard. The rows of four or
five people each said one word apiece to try to describe people or
countries in Europe, and they had sixty seconds per word. It was pretty
nifty! Just as everyone started getting serious and into the game,
though, we had to leave.
A lot of people were like "where did you get this idea?" and "that was
pretty cool."
My teacher thought it was a good idea, and Friday, before finals start,
I'm going to show the bonus round of the episode of GO! that I do have
to everyone, since what we did was based on that part of the show.
Allrighty, then...I sign off with this, but remember, check out my home

A great story!! It just goes to prove that game shows are not only
entertaining, but educational as well, especially in the classroom!
