A great biography with some surprises!

SPOILER

First, they showed a VERY brief clip of the new version of TTTT (maybe
the pilot?) and the set looks quite interesting. Let's just hope the
topics are as dignified as they always were, as opposed to the pilot.

Second, was the final tv appearances of Gil Fates and Gene Rayburn. Gil
Fates looked great, and Gene looked ok, but his voice sounded quite a
bit more raspy than in the earlier days.

Third, it was saddening to hear how depressed Mark was thruout his life.
He had great success, but still had great bouts with depression.

They also showed some great stills from Say When, Concentration, and
video clips from Winner Take All.

Was that the Chuck Henry pilot?

Not to mention a still from the Chuck Henry-era Now You See It with a vastly

uglier logo. And more appearances by Marjorie Goodson than Jonathan. (She
also shed part of her last name -- is she still married?)

It was interesting. It reminds me that money and/or success doesn't equal
happiness.

That logo is seen on CbsTVcity's webpage on the MGTP Brochure:Show Logos. I'm
pretty sure they showed that logo on NYSI89 when coming out of one of the
commercial breaks.

She's still wearing the ring on her left ring-finger; maybe that answers the
question [?]. Nice hair, too.

What's interesting about this is that it is the logo used on Henry's show,
however that was a gigantic sign never seen on the show.

Loved that shot considering I was a big NYSI '89 fan.

That logo was also the one used at the end of the show as the tag
after the fee plugs and the credits.

Perhaps the sign was to come down from the ceiling a la the MG78-82 Star Wheel
or the 1987 Blockbusters sign.

Fred Wostbrock was a tad mistaken when he said the only GT show left on the air
by the end of 1969 was To Tell the Truth. What's My Line, Beat the Clock, AND
He Said She Said were also in syndication. Once the original Match Game ended,
there were no more network GT shows for two years.

Right, but Wostbrock said TTTT was the only one in PRIMETIME in 1969.

1) That's not what he said.

2) That would also be wrong anyway.

It was also used on the box of the Now You See It computer game.

If you ever saw some of the shirts in my closet, you'd be shouting the same
thing to me! :-)

That still of Goodson and Chuck Henry on the NYSI89 set had a NYSI sign that
looked like it came down from the ceiling at the end of the show or something,
which it never did on air as far as I know.

Thanks.
