Total money won on "Weakest Link": $783,500 out of a possible $11 million
(7.122% of the possible amount).
Another decent showing, money-wise. The record Round 1 made up about 3/8 of
the total, though...and it COULD've been the full $125,000 in that round as
well.
The first-ever 3-way voting tie in U.S. "Weakest Link" history occurred. Elena
had a tough choice...David did bite it in Round 6, but he ALSO banked money,
just like Elena did...and Diane did not. Guess she felt those that banked
should stay in.
The 'weakest link' was not voted off until Round 5. Either this group were
just voting for the one with the worst-sounding answer (like B.B. King)...or
they had zero clues about who WAS the worst player.
