O.....kay. Pretty sneaky, they were. They played Game 4 of the
Second Round on ESPN2 last week, making me think I missed it...not
realizing that there was, in fact, only ONE show on that week. THEN,
they almost convince me that there was only one on THIS week, but I
caught it on my online TV Guide that it would be on late Friday night.
They really, really, REALLY don't want this show on next year, do
they?

Cash: $10,000

Question of Great Significance (1983 St. Loius [NFL] Cardinals)
---------------------------------------------------------------
Question: The offense of the '83 Cardinals was pretty good: Neal
Lomax, Roy Green and Otis Anderson. Lomax had his
first big season, Green set team records for receiving and
O.J. gained 1,200 yards on the ground. But we don't care
about THOSE characters; three surprising names were
involved that year. Tell me these things:
(a) Which Cardinals offensive lineman rumbled for 11
rushing yards that season,
(b) Which St. Louis linebacker caught a 4-yard pass, and
(c) Which Cards defensive back also had one rushing
attempt but was stopped for no gain?
Given answer: OK, the lineman who rushed for yards was Louis Sharpe
(a),...[asks about the linebacker part...]...I'm gonna
say the linebacker in question was E.J. Junior...
Correct answer: (a) Sharpe, (b) Dave Ahrens and (c) Benny Perrin
Cash: $20,000 total

Berth in quarterfinals:
Adesina Koiki (42 points, $30K)
Scott Polk (51 points, $15K)
Jeff Izes (50 points, $25K)
Brian Roche (48 points, $20K)

Still to play in sweet sixteen:
Mike Wagner (28 points, $5K)
Jean Paul Savary (20 points, $5K)
Adam Fleischmann (19 points, $5K)
James Dinan (26 points, $5K)
Paul Spiotta (21 points, $5K)
Michael Lazarus (30 points, $5K)
Bob Bartlett (26 points, $10K)
Willy Gibson (23 points, $10K)

They should give $10000 and an ESPN experience just for managing to see
every episode! I caught game 5 on Sunday night, but I can't even figure
out when it first ran.
