How many Dawson FF families reached $25,000? I remember two - one
retired undefeated (and won close to, if not over, $30,000 total), and
one had $24,905 going into their last game, got $100 on the first
question, but ended up losing - still, they won $25,005.

Did they ever count lollipop tree money against the limit?
the Tack family retired on the show airing two weeks ago on GSN. They've shown
two retired families on recent GSSNs from 1983(but not last Saturday's airing)

Didn't they have a family retire during a GSSN the other night? At that
point I thought they had seen somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 families
retire undefeated.

Partly because all the winning families of the current version only get
to win once.

I don't believe I saw a retired family on last Saturday's show, I didn't see
all eight shows, but saw the first and last shows and the champions hadn't won
all that much yet.
On the 1/1 airing, the Tack Family retired with $29K. THe last Feud GSSN in
December had a retired family.
And it looks like we're stuck with the same episode of Feud GSN played in
Nov/Dec with the 8am/noon showing...

That was the 12/2 Feud GSN, and that family retired undefeated in 1983.
