There is a dry-cleaning store in the suburb of Parma that is known as
Betty Brite Cleaners. It is a franchise name that has been around since
at least the early 70s.
The chain's "representative" is a characature of a young lady with
bubbles in the background who I assume is THE Betty Brite.
As I was looking at the picture of Betty, I noticed that Ms. Brite had
the same hairstyle and facial features as Betty White, though Ms. Brite
was a cartoon character.
I'm just wondering if there is some connection with Ms. White and Ms.
Brite, or if Betty had some interest in this chain when it first came
out.
Hornikel or anyone else in the neighborhood of Broadview and Brookpark
on the east side of Parma might be able to back me up on the
similarities.
There was just so many similarities, I had to share this info.
BTW, saw the Indians crush KC tonight, winning 11-4 at the Jake. It was
a party when the Tribe scored 9 in the 6th. The Indians are for real
this year -- not even the Yanks will stop us!!!
Go Tribe!!!
