I think she is still in the business. In 1986-87 she was hosted of this
one updated version of "The Dating Game."

Thanks for reading.

I would also like to know what year Bobby Van died. As for Elaine Joyce,
she was featured in many sitcoms (including "Mr. Merlin" in 1981),
dramas (she did "Murder, She Wrote" at least once) and variety shows.
She remarried in 1985 and had a baby the following year. A few years
ago, she had a recurring role as a real estate agent on "Beverly Hills,
90210," and she looked terrific!

I believe Bobby Van passed away in 1980.

the only eventful thing I remeber Elaine doing was hosting "The All New
Dating Game", but months later she was booted out and replaced by Jeff
McGreggor.

Have we forgotten about Bobby Van's manic "pogo dance" from that
famous MGM musical, "Small Town Girl"? Plus he was in numerous
Broadway shows.

And his turns as host of "Showoffs" and "Make Me Laugh"?

I'll confirm that. Van's career was mostly spent on the stage, so film and TV
credits are spotty. He was in two relatively noteworthy movie musicals, "Kiss
Me Kate" and "Lost Horizon" (his last film appearance). His TV career was
almost exclusively as a game show host and a guest on variety shows and other
game shows. Interesting career footnote: Van was also a dance choreographer
for some 60s films.

Bobby Van died sometime in the early 1980's. One little thing you forgot
about Elaine Joyce: "The All New Dating Game." (pre-MacGregor)

Bobby did three gamshows, "The Fun Factory," "Make Me Laugh," and
"Showoffs." That is all I know about Bobby. Elaine did many gameshow
appearances doing "Match Game," just saw her on "Password Plus" and
others. She too hosted a gameshow. When "The Dating Game" Returned to
TV in 1986, she hosted the first season! And this is all I know

Bobby died in 1980 or '81. Was a song-and-dance man at MGM in the
50s, starred in "Small Town Girl," where he did a number that had him
jumping through the whole town. In 1973, he co-starred in the musical
remake of "Lost Horizon."
