CULVER CITY, Calif.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--June 18, 2002--Game Show Network
will highlight some of the biggest winners to date on "Whammy! The All New
Press Your Luck" with 3 hours of "When Whammys Attack."
Even though the Whammy manages to toss pizza dough on their heads or pop a tub
of popcorn over them, these players were lucky enough to avoid Whammy's most
notorious tendency: stealing contestants' winnings. Hosting the marathon will
be "Whammy!"'s own Todd Newton on a secret location safari as he attempts to
hunt down and capture the fearsome Whammy.
Tune in for these exciting episodes sponsored by Kraft Foods and SEARS on

Shouldn't that be the title of a block of the biggest money *losers* on
the show? Shouldn't this one be called "When Whammys Don't Attack"?
More seriously, I find it lame to be doing these kind of retrospectives
on a show that is so new.
Didn't the guy on Monday's show win more than $14,000? (And it's not
one of these five above).
If I were that guy, I'd ask for my place in the sun...
