I know this might've been asked before, but does the Jack Clark version of
"Cross Wits" still exists? If so, can't someone get it to air on GSN. Also,
does anyone have a clean copy of the theme? That'd be cool.

Even if it does still exist, I don't think GSN has any versions of Cross Wits.

It has been known for a long time in this newsgroups that the 70s Cross-Wits
are mostly gone.

But since the 70s Cross-Wits was syndicated and not on NBC, ABC, or CBS, then
who erased it?

If either organization still exists.

Isn't it possible that Ralph Edwards still has these? After all, the
old "This is Your Life" shows were unearthed and played about ten years
ago on American Movie Classics. As late as 1984, clips of another Ralph
Edwards show, "Truth or Consequences" were shown on the NBC special
"Those Wonderful Game Shows." (Including the first appearance of Bob
Barker.} Also on that special were clips of Bill Leyden's "It Could be
You." I think Mr. Edwards might still have these shows. Has anyone
ever written to him or called his office?

Metromedia and/or Ralph Edwards Productions chose not to save it. I remember
about this time two years ago when American Independent Network, or some
network with a similar name, claimed on their website Cross-Wits reruns with
Jack Clark would be airing daily. A few people got quite excited about it, and
it turned out to be the 1986-87 David SParks version.

They showed Barker's first TorC in clip form on Barker's A&E biography three
weeks ago.
