In 23 years in Hollywood I regret that I never visited Metromedia Square or the
Vine Street Theater.
I haven't been by TAV in a while but I imagine it's rubble by now. I was inside
once and got a tour of the studio shared at the time by Merv and Entertainment
Tonight.
It remains to be seen what happens to the Wink Martindale studio when it is
vacated.
Although no game shows were ever taped there, it also remains to be seen what
happens to the KCAL building which was part of the old RKO movie lot. KCAL is
slated to move to Viacom's Columbia Square. KCAL (KHJ) has aired more hours by
far of syndicated game shows than any station in Los Angeles.

Most of the Lear shows moved to Metromedia at some point in the 1975-76 season,
save for SANFORD & SON (which stayed in beautiful downtown Burbank).
I believe THREE'S COMPANY stayed at CBS TV City for its duration (not so sure
about the final season or the spin-off, whose name won't be mentioned here, but
I'm reasonably sure that most of its run taped at TV City).

Jim Perry: We asked 100 airline stewardesses: Has a pregnant woman ever given
birth on one of your flights?
Maury: That's happened--it's been reported. I had nothing to do with it,
though.

And who knows what'll become of the KCAL 9 facility on Melrose. I
guess it's safe to say that it's now integrated with the remainder of
Paramount Studios, who now own what was left of the RKO lot (later
resided by Desilu) since the late 1960s.
