I'm curious about something. I've noticed on Hollywood Squares that alot
of the celebrities who appear are from ABC and very few are from the
other networks. HS is a syndicated show so there should be no favorism
towards ABC, but it just seems odd to me. Going from my own recollection
of the shows i've seen since it premiered, i only counted less than 4
stars from CBS, and less than 5 from NBC and more than 10 from ABC. Am i
reading too much into this?

Thought-provoking point...in most of the top 10 markets the show is on
the CBS o&o stations. But ABC's shows in general attract a younger audience
Therefore, if you want your celebrity game show to attract the same audience, you
get the stars of ABC shows. I will admit they did skew a little heavy this
week(two DREW CAREY-ites and an NYPD BLUE-er along with Caroline, who double-dips
with SABRINA...)

No, its taped at CBS Television City's Studio 33 (The Bob Barker Studio). I
really don't think that there's any reasoning behind the number of stars
from different network. It probably just randomly happened that there are
more from ABC.

Is CBS Television City really that close to the ABC studios? I think it's just
chance.

for one thing I know Tom Bergeron has always mentioned shows that are on UPN
and WB by their network names. The CBS NBC and ABC shows networks names are
never mentioned anyone else notice that?

If you follow Prospect (the street ABC Hollywood is on) west as it turns into
Hollywood Blvd. all the way to Fairfax and turn left, you're practically there.

I, too think it's chance. So there. :P

Not true...Tom mentions Sabrina The Teenage Witch, The Drew Carey Show
(ABC for both) and The Nanny (CBS) has been mentioned on the times
that Fran Drescher and Renee Taylor have been on the show...I'm sure
others...as well...
