Just for the record (a minor correction): in my original post about Miss
Francis's passing (titled "Goodnight, Arlene"), I cited her age as 92,
based on the original AP article on the New York Times site, which noted
that Arlene Francis Kazanjian was born in Boston on Oct. 20, 1908.
Other sources, including the print edition of the Times, give her
birthdate as 1907.

I don't know if this could possibly be correct unless GSN is skipping an
episode because today, GSN aired the Wednesday show of the week of Password,
that would mean that the new week would start not next Saturday but the week
after. Are you sure you were looking at next Sunday?

Steve Beverly says that GSN aired two episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT
where Arlene subs for Bill Cullen. But the collection of shows Jake Tanner
sent me only has one with her. Does anyone else know or even have this
second show?

For the record, no, I really can't stand the show.

I think it would be moe fitting for them to show the episodes where
Arlene stepped in for Donna Douglas mid-week, after Donna got called back to
Los Angeles. It shows her class and style and graciousness.

Yes, we know.I am sure there are shows you like that some of us don't. That's
what makes mankind interesting.

Well, it was asserted that "we all" would eagerly welcome the airing of
more WML, and I just wanted to ensure that nobody got too carried away
with their notions of "all."

Not unlike the Tomarkenites who assume that everyone loves PYL and is
outraged that GSN hasn't picked up the reruns.

I understand. I would be saying the same thing if someone said that about
Barker's Price Is Right, a show I could live without.
We all can't like all the same shows. It would be dull if we did.
