Rick
In the late '70s Bob did a lot of work on the Barry/Enright shows -
he took over for Jay Stewart towards the end of the run of the 1979-80
Geoff Edwards game "Play the Percentages"; also some "Tic Tac Dough"
and "Joker's Wild" when Jay had some time off. Later in the '80s, he
did countless eps of the $25/$100K "Pyramid", alternating between
Charlie O'Donnell and Jack Clark as regular announcer, and a great deal
of Eubanks "Card Sharks" from 1986-89.
Besides his GS work, Bob cohsoted Channel 9's long-running "AM Los
Angeles" talk show with Stephanie Edwards, and today the 50-year-old
radio/TV vet is the head anchor of Sacramento's Channel 13 News (at 5pm
and I think the noon news too). Bob's ex-wife Kitty was also known to
fans of the Ralph Edwards game shows for substituting for regular
hostess Jerri Fiala on "Cross Wits" and "Name That Tune" when Jerri
took some well-earned time off.
Hope this helps!

Before you buy.
To Bob's credit, that I know of are the following:
TTD (1980, filling in for Jay Stewart)
TJW (1980, filling in for Jay Stewart)
PtP (1980, filling in for Jay Stewart)
Trivia Trap (1984, filling in for Gene Wood)
$25K/$100K Pyramid
Card Sharks (1988, filling in for Gene Wood)
Family Feud (Combs run, 1990, filling in for Gene Wood)
Match Game (Shafer run, 1990, filling in for...you guessed it!)
Let's Make a Deal (1990, host)
That's all I can think of.

>Let's Make a Deal (1990, host)
he also hosted the 1977 revival of Truth or Consequences
He was also a news anchor at KGAN CBS 2 in Cedar Rapids Iowa, in 1993 I
believe. I don't know how long that stint lasted.

One more thing: Bob hosted the pilot for "The Guinness Game," which did air in
syndication as a special in 1979 (Don Galloway did the series).
