Karin: "Not too bad, thank you."
Anne: "Don't thank me, Karin, it's very early in the game. Had enough of
Jeff?"
Karin: "Not enough of Jeff the person, but he did lose us $25,000 when he
didn't 'bank'."
Anne: "What do you do, Karin?"
Karin: "I'm an attorney."
Anne: "Are you? Do you have to count if you're an attorney?"
Karin: "Thank God, no."
Anne: "Thank God for your clients, because...he only lost $10,000. Marcus,
what do you do?"
Marcus: "Supervisor for an airport operations."
Anne: "And were you so busy supervising, the election passed you by?" (Marcus
didn't know what the W. in George W. Bush's name stood for)
Marcus: "Being that I'm a Democrat, the "W"'s one I wanted to forget."
Anne: "Oh, I see...so, it's of no interest to you who the President is of the
United States? Why did YOU vote for Jeff?"
Marcus: "HE didn't know about Frosty the Snowman." (Jeff though Frosty's eyes
were made out of buttons, not coal)
Anne: "Jeff, the personal trainer who, alas, has worked on his body and not on
his brain. With 5 votes, you ARE the 'weakest link'. Good-bye."

Mary: "Um, if she were a psychiatric nurse, yes."
Anne: "Why have you voted her off?"
Mary: "Um, she doesn't seem to know the answers to the questions."
Anne: "Renee, what do YOU do?"
Renee: "I'm a placement advisor at a truck driving school."
Anne: "And would YOU hire Kira?"
Renee: "No."
Anne: "Why not?"
Renee: "Well, she hesitated on EVERY question and got them ALL wrong."
Anne: "Marcus...where are you from?"
Marcus: "Miami, Florida."
Anne: "And tell me, Marcus, in Miami, Florida, do the Scouts go around saying
'Always Faithful, Always Faithful'? (Marcus thought that was the Boy Scout
motto instead of 'Be Prepared') Kira, the bartender, it's time to fix yourself
a very hefty drink. With 5 votes, you ARE the 'weakest link'. Good-bye."

Anne: "Good grades?"
James: "Resonably."
Anne: "How reasonably?"
James: "Well, I'm number one in my class right now."
Anne: "You must come back after you've been to college, James. You think
Marcus would make the grade?"
James: "I don't think he would."
Anne: "Why's that, James?"
James: "He seemed to take way too long on the questions and the ones where he
did, he didn't seem to get the right answer for."
Anne: "Renee...why Marcus?"
Renee: "He choked. He took too long, he obviously didn't know the answer in
the first place, and wasted the time deciding which wrong answer he was going
to give."
Anne: "Karin...why Marcus?"
Karin: "Because he took way too long to answer as simple a question as
'tiramisu'." (Marcus didn't know that was the dessert made with lady fingers
and espresso and comes from the Italian phrase for "pick-me-up")
Anne: "And you'd've known that, would you, Karin?"
Karin: "Absolutely."

James: "I think that, over the long run, that eliminating Karin would be
beneficial for the team."
Anne: "Did you think she was the 'weakest link'?"
James: "I did indeed."
Anne: "Statistically, she wasn't of course..."
James: "I know that but I think that...having me on this team for the next
couple of rounds would prove better for the team then having Karin."
Anne: "James - top in his class, he tells us - was the 'weakest link'. But
it's votes that count. (to Karin) With 3 votes, you ARE the 'weakest link'.

John is the Strongest Link and wins $73,000!
Renee...leaves...with NOTHING!
Until the next review of "Weakest Link"...*wink*...good-bye.
(Hey, I gotta do SOMETHING until "2-Minute Drill" comes back...)
What I love is not the money aspect, but Robinson's tirades, especialy
about what they coutld have won.
Some of my favorites...
>Anne: "Oh, I see...so, it's of no interest to you who the President is of the
>United States?"
When I heard that, I just smiled...
>"Who is keeping you out of the upper tax bracket?"
Good thing Robinson is adapting her approach for the US audience.
(From what I understand, there are no taxes in the UK.)
>"Who should be put out of his misery? Which one of your teammates is gumming
>up the works? You need to be ruthless...to be rich"
Truer words were never spoken, at least for this game...
>(Anne, about the $0 'banked': "Now in Round 7, you get the chance to double
>what you bank,...but that requires you to have banked something in the FIRST
>place!")
See last comment...
>Anne: "Team, we have tried...VERY HARD...to give you money...tonight.
>Three-quarters of a million dollars have been at your disposal, and you have
>managed to claim less than 10% of it."
When I heard that, I was laughing so hard...
>Until the next review of "Weakest Link"...*wink*...good-bye.

>(Hey, I gotta do SOMETHING until "2-Minute Drill" comes back...)
And you're doing a great job...keep up the good work!

Wow, phenomenal job Dean. That makes the show much more interesting in
my mind. When watching, I felt that James was very strong, and was
being picked on unfairly because of his age.
The stats though, show him to be a middle of the pack kind of guy, and
he was voted off at just the right spot. In fact, everyone went in
pretty much the correct order, the weak guys first, and the two
strongest made it to the end, and the best player won.
