More often than not, I am unable to enjoy Futurama as much as I want to,
because I despise Peggy Bundy with all my black heart. She ruins the
program for me, with that stupid single-eye and giant red hair and that
voice that makes me want to tear my ears off. DAMN YOU. PEGGY BUNDY,
YOU'VE RUINED THE FUTURE FOR ME!

it's purple hair actually. Maybe if you adjust the color tint on your
set, you'd like the show more...? :)

I don't think I could watch a show with Sarah Jessica Parker in it.

I'd add Katee Sackhoff, although I suspect it's because she is simply a
terrible actress and I wouldn't like her in anything, even if I had never
seen "Battlestar Galactica". Whereas, I thought SJP was a pretty good
actress before "Sex and the City".

Once Upon A Time,
Thank you for the attribution, Mason, but you excised everything I wrote.

Square Pegs was fun.

Katee Sackhoff is also fun.

Leaving in the attribution gave you credit for the thread title. It was
good that he axed your blasphemy of Leela Turanga. As a side note, though,
I will say that the animated shows can be annoying when the wrong voice
comes out of a character. That does make it hard to watch a character
because of a different show. I can't watch 'Adventuretime' (partly because
it sucks) partly because I can't stand Bender's voice coming out of the
dog's mouth. He also showed up to be an annoying disconnsonance in the Ben
10 stuff.

I'm afraid you've missed the hidden message in Captain Infinity's remarks.
Leela *does* have red hair...in Universe 1, as seen in The Farnsworth
Parabox. In other words, the Captain Infinity who posted these words is not
from our universe, Universe A, but is actually the Captain Infinity of
Universe 1. And since counterparts from parallel universes are almost always
evil, we can safely assume the real Captain Infinity from our universe does
not hold this evil opinion. I think it safe to say this means Captain
Infinity-1 loves Futurama unreservedly, all the more so because it stars the
multitalented singer-actress Katey Sagal, whom he remembers fondly from her
supporting role in the 1985 series Mary. Isn't that right, Captain
Infinity-A -- or should I say, Captain Infinite EVIL?

Hey, what's not to like about Peggy Bundy?
Without her there'd be no Kelly Bundy.
[OK, Bud was also one of her creations.]

I seem you're referring to Katey Sagal, as "Peggy Bundy" was just a
character on a TV show. Why do you try so hard to look stupid, Rich?

Did you guys know that Katey Sagal is actually one of about ten people in
the United States with "perfect autobiographical memory". It is flat out
*bizarre*. If someone gives her a date, she can tell you the day of the
week, what the weather was like, and what she had for lunch.

I watched her perform on 60 Minutes, where she was featured maybe a year
ago. It is astonishing. Scott Pelley had a computer and checked up on
the verifiable facts.

I don't know why they put Poppy Montgomery in the role of a detective with
this skill. If they'd used Sagal, they would have gotten a huge amount of
press.

Oh wait a minute. I just checked online and it wasn't her, it was Marilu
Henner, LOL. Well, it's still interesting even if not on-topicl

She can sing and has recorded a few albums. I worked at a radio station that
played her music.
