searching for those lyrics, i always get a version in japanese and a
version in english, but they're not even close to what i'm hearing in
the song..
==============
When I kiss you I smell something sweet
Like a flower
A sweet smell like vanilla
I get dazed and sleepy
I become a child
When I hold you I smell something sweet,
Your long hair sways in the wind.
Words of love
Ticklish everytime I whisper
I become a child
When we make love, I smell something sweet
When we make love, I get tired and...
When I close my eyes, like a flower bud
I become sleepy
We are (baby love child)
Foolish (groovy love child)
Kiss me (baby love child)
One more time

does anyone know the actual lyrics from the Futurama version of Baby
Love Child?

Well... I mean, the lyrics aren't that hard to make out, except for a few
Japanese phrases. When in doubt, it's Japanese. =)
You can find an MP3 of it pretty easily to hear the whole thing.
just wondering why.

No idea. I noticed it too after poking around with Google and AltaVista. I
guess that shows that every lyrics database out there just grubs lyrics from
other sites. =)
When I see you my love
I see what's in your mind
You own me yes you do
You don't need to tell me
I know you love me most
No one else take my place
You need me yes you do
Forever and ever
When we kiss,
I see what's in your heart
You love me yes do
You don't need to tell me
I know you love me most
No one else take my place
You need me you do
Forever and ever
'Corus comes in'
Scott Weigand
The lyrics I've worked out, as far as I can gather are pretty much the same
as Scott Weigland's post, with little diffs:
Third line sounds more like "you know me.." than "you own me..." (but that
could just be me), and,
according to a mate who used to work in Japan the "Aiashi Emasu" (with Emasu
spelt phonetically as 'Air-Mass-Oo') - Aiashi could be a guys name while
"Emasu" or whatever translates to "I'm going out".
Always a sucker for the "funky drummer" riff, AL

Then I see you alone, I see what's in your mind

I know you love me most, no one else take my place
You need me yes you do, forever and ever
When we kiss, I see what's in your heart
You love me yes you do, you don't need to tell me
I know you love me most, no one else take my place
You need me you do, forever and ever
We are alone, baby lovechild
I'll take you so high, groovy lovechild
Give me a kiss, baby lovechild
Do it again...
<<Attention adults + "Oooh" stuff>>>
We are in bed at night, I can see what you want
You know me yes you do, "Aiashi Emasu" (?spelling)
I know how you feel, you have all of my heart
I give you myself, forever and ever
We are a alone, baby lovechild
I'll take you so high, groovy lovechild
Give me a kiss, baby love child
Do it again

I believe it starts with "When I see you alone."
> We are alone, baby lovechild
> I'll take you so high, groovy lovechild

At the beginning of the chorus, it doesn't sound like "we are alone" to
me.... I thought it was Japanese, but I hear: "weel-aaah, baby love child."
Hehe
I clearly sound to me as "Ai Shitemasu" which means "I love you" (actually
it's more "I'm in love" but the meaning is "i love you") even if the most
common form is "suki desu".

> Then I see you alone, I see what's in your mind
It should be: 'When I see you alone'
> We are in bed at night, I can see what you want
> You know me yes you do, "Aiashi Emasu" (?spelling)
This should be: 'Ai shite masu', which basically translates to 'making love'
Anyway, the album is Made in USA, by Pizzicato Five
