I am new to the internet. I was just curious to know if anyone else has
heard that Alannis Morrisette's song You Oughta Know is about Matthew
Perry? I have heard this a few times and am wondering if it is true.

Thanks.

: Matthew PERRY? That's a new one. Matt LEBLANC I've heard before, since he

That stupid Alanis song is dedicated to Dave Coulier, of Full House fame.

I don't know whether or not Alanis and Matt dated but I am quite sure that
the song 'You Oughta Know' was written for Dave Coulier (Joey on Full House).

Yes, but Matt Perry and Alanis Morissette are also v. good friends...and
also they are both Canadian...maybe thats how they met...

Yeah, all of us 25 million plus Canadians know each other personally.
That's how this supposed relationsip began, I'm sure.

P.S. Dave Coulier is also Canadian. All of us are personal friends.
Every thankgiving we come out of our igloos and go ice fishing in the
backyard will we listen to the Leafs and the Canadians play hockey on the
short wave radio.

Just one question I have for you though, where the hell do you get off
making such a stupid generalization? "They're dating because their
Canadian." i guess Madonna's dating the half the NBA because they're all
Americans.

Have a nice day. :)

Yo, dude, did this generalization about Canadians upset you just
a tiny little bit or what!?!?

Calm down, it's ok. I'm from Texas and "they" think everyone here
wears Cowboy boots and hats! It's not true, I tell you, it's NOT!
Oh no, now *I'm* off on a tangent!

Help stomp out generalization and stereotypes! Nobody have an
opinion! Or if you do, don't voice it here! Wait! Isn't that what
this list is about? Naaaahhh!

Okay, I'm outta here. I *obviously* have way too much time on my
hands today, don't I?

Renee' S. (in Dallas, on the 1st day of Spring- yeah right!)

Schlank, excuse me for calling you the neuter here.

Nick! Take a deep breath! Out with the bad wind,
in with the good wind. Schlank (or is that Mr. Schlank?)
did say "maybe" in his post -- and didn't say anything
about Perry and Morisette dating. I'm sure he didn't
mean to clump all you hockey-playing, beer-drinking,
"take-off"-saying canucks together. Even if he did,
I'm sure it's because the only image we football-watching,
videogame-playing, drug-addicted Americans have of
you is those quirky MacKenzie brothers from SCTV.

Take off, eh? You hozer.

The Red Wings are better anyway. Those Russians
sure can play some hockey!

Enough about me, let's talk about you for a minute.
Enough about you, let's talk about life for awhile....

So why does Perry (I never call anyone by my own name) get all these
interesting women (Alanis, Julia) when Chandler can't get any?

Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

Best thing about "Friends": there are two guys named Matt!
