Hey I have a question. In the Series 4 finale Chandler makes those jokes that
the English guests don't get. Well I'm English and I don't get one. I get the
melba toast joke, because melba toast is small and his toast is... oh never
mind, but anyway what the hell is Monty Hall? He say's -

"I'm very happy that Ross and Emily are getting married at Montague Hall. Just
imagine, one of my friends getting married in Monty Hall. Oh come on, Monty
Hall let's make a deal. Come on you people."

?????????

Could someone please explain. It's really bugging me. Please mail me the
answer as well as post it. Thanks a lot.

Monty Hall was the host of the TV game show "Let's Make A Deal", and Chandler
gave that name to Monatgue Hall as if to say their getting married was making a
deal-
well thats my take- anyone else?

Monty Hall hosted a game show called Let's Make a Deal.
If you won a prize, you could keep it, or you could
choose to trade it for something hidden behind the
set. Sometimes the trade was valuable, sometimes it
was a guy in a chicken suit with a package of hot dogs
or something equally ridiculous.

Hope that helps.
