A Friends reunion is not on the cards, according to reports.

An NBC insider dashed reports that there would be a reprisal of the hit
show, which sprang Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, David
Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow to fame, next year.

The NBC source told E! News that the story was "not true" while another
insider said that a reunion was something the network has "talked about,"
but there has been "no forward motion" on the idea.

Recently Matthew, who played Chandler, reunited with Courteney, who
starred as his girlfriend turned wife Monica in Friends, on his TV show
Go On.

Friends was broadcast between 1994 and 2004 and reports of a reunion of
the much-loved show have sparked a Twitter frenzy.

"The trend is undeniable, the far left intruding on the national
discourse, perverting the educational system, and generally behaving as
badly as any movement has since the late 1960s. Fair-minded Americans
will eventually reject this explosion of zealotry as they always have."

The show is not worth reviving. More to the point, *no one* is clamoring
for a reunion.

Honestly, I hear a lot more interest in a "Saved By The Bell" reunion
than I've ever heard for a "Friends" reunion... :/

Because this came via Ubi the Ass I don't know who wrote the
above, but whoever it is should perhaps be informed of the
difference between 'reprise' and 'reprisal'.

Unless, of course, they did it on purpose. :-)

Google "An NBC insider dashed reports that there would be a reprisal"
1,660,000 hits
that's what they said

And they don't have a byline. I don't know who Ubi would have
attributed.

Your Google-fu is weak. The byline is "Jill Serjeant" for Reuters.

When they get the cast assembled, I get dibs on David Schwimmer.

As the show was preparing to go off the air, there were stories here about
how they'd filmed some future episode while filming the last real
episodes. SOmething about then airing it in the future, like ten years
later. I'm hazy, it's almost been ten years, yet then there were counter
stories saying the first ones were rumors.

But perhaps the idea had been to have a "reunion" by filming at the time.

I remember that, although I thought it was a one year later reunion.
