The Mask aired earlier tonight, US $ bearing pics of Ben Franklin, U.S.
Grant and Andrew Jackson were mentioned.

Anybody know what denominations they each occupy?

Tks

In article <B8B98C10.A058%JUSTe...@gtemail.net>,

Don't forget,
Alexander Haliton = $10 bill
Abraham Lincoln = $5 bill
Bill Clinton = $3 bill (just kidding)
Thomas Jefferson = $2 bill
George Washington = $1 bill

Of course, only Franklin, Grant and Jackson were "on the list" at the club.

=============

This Canuck newbie to the study of American history wonders about the
significance of these three, vis a vis 'the club' (in The Mask?) you
mention.

I expect Grant and Jackson may have been contemporaries, but Jackson
preceded them, he was back around Revolutionary times, oui?

Benjamin Franklin was never president, but was a very significant political
figure during the revolutionary period in America.

Andrew Jackson was president from 1829-1837. I'm guessing he had little to
do with Franklin, and I doubt they even met. Jackson was a pre-civil war
president by more than 20 years.

Ulysses Grant was a famous civil war general who became president in 1869,
four years after he conclusion of the civil war. He served 8 years, and
probably never met Jackson.

You're what sucks about this country lol, all arrogance with no humility or sense of humor. I feel sorry for your children if you ever did convince a woman to bear them lol.
