I dont know what it is. This is the bad guy right? We are suppose to hate him
because he doesnt want Nick to become human. And we want what Nick wants,
right? Wrong. Everytime, he comes on the screen I shudder. Not from disgust
either. I love how bad he is. I sometimes catch myself rooting for him! His
evil, I find so sexy. The good girl wanting the bad man. Typical isn't it?!
But it's true. So for all you good girls out there that love a bit of danger
and excitment, lets hear from you!!

Bingo! I think that's the secret. That and the fact that HE loves how bad he
is, too! He glories in it. My 17-year old daughter and I watched C&C together
the other night, and LaCroix came on and she said, "You know, he's not really
that good-looking, but there's something about him that's so attractive." From
the mouths of babes!

NB doesn't have the typical Hollywood good looks, but he's got that voice,
that accent, and most especially the whole so-cool-it's-hot allure of suave
vampiric evil down PAT! Plus LaCroix simply seems to have so much *fun*
bein' bad, you just enjoy it right along with him! ;)

of course, even a Cousin comme moi has to admit that GWD can do the wicked hot
vampire thing too, when given the opportunity...

XmagicalX, who occasionally wonders about her tastes...

Someone once described LaCroix's voice as 'warm velvet edged with cold
satin.' That's usually pretty good for a shudder or two.

I like those icy eyes, too.

Drool.

Lacroix is sexy. He is centuries old,and very wise in a painfully
twisted way, and without realizing it,
he sometimes exposes his humanity.

I don't know why they moved the timeslot to 1pm. I wish they'd move it back to
9pm. If anyone agrees,please
let me know.

Ohhh I HATE the new time slot, because I'm still catching up on all the Due
South episodes on TNT and my timer will only tape one channel at a time because
of the cable box. So I've been taping DS and then the older episodes of
Babylon 5 while at work. Of course, truth to tell, I have FK tapes somewhere
in the house but I have a theory...that even if we have an uncut video of a
movie, we will watch the televised cut version because while we are watching it
that way, we also know that others are watching it at the same time, so we are
not "alone". We're one of many in an audience.

I'd like it back in an evening slot too. I've emailed scifi a couple times on this
issue. The only ray of light is that beginning in Jan it will come at 7am
Pacific. I intend to get up early to watch it before work, if I can make the
commute work out. (Addicted, who me?) There is something about watching the show
while its on the tube.

Starting in January, they have it at 10am (eastern), right before Dark
Shadows (2 episodes 11-12). Makes it easy to set a vcr for the block,
but harder if you're making separate keeper tapes of both. Since I now
have all of both series on keeper tapes, it's not a problem for me.

I just kind of find it ironic that it's on at noon (CST) You know, you're
watching Nick trying to get into the sun without becoming a french fry (or
maybe Belgium fry ;) and all the while, you're trying to figure out a way to
the sun from glaring off the tv. Grr... :)

You think you've got time slot problems. Think about
us poor addicts here in the Pacific time zone when it's
shown at 7am!!! All I can say is thank G*D for the VCR
and programable timers.

Personally I'd like it at 7am Pacific...this way I'd get to watch it.
Right now it's at 10am. And, try as I might to do otherwise, they
expect me to be at work by then.

I was really bummed on Thanksgiving when I thought I might actually
get a chance to watch...but they had TMNT II. blech!

And the inside joke (sort of ) is that "LaCroix" means "The Cross"
ironic isnt it?
