What's with Guy Fieri's sunglasses

Why does he wear them on the back of his neck? Can he see through
them?

Why do they disappear and reappear from scene to scene only moments
apart? Are they falling off? If so, then why doesn't he just stick
them in his shirt pocket and leave them off rather than pick them up
and stick them back on the back of his spiky, bleached blonde Billy
Idol hairdoo?
I like Diners, Drive-ins and Dives but his constant back-slapping and
cackling is another annoyance.

These are the types of gimmicks that puts me off of FN. Can't they
put on a show without the "professional wrestling" atitude? A good
cook can stand on his/her own two feet.

That's bad production. Somebody is supposed to be in charge of making
sure the actor is dressed exactly the same every time.

The scenes aren't necessarily shown in the order they are shot.
