I watched and enjoyed today's GRILL IT episode with that Ali Khan cook. It
got me thinking that maybe Food Network should offer him a show and have him
bringout some Indian foods for us to try. This guy is quite a character, a
bit over the top at times, but seems to have more personality than the ones
on that next Food Network star.

I'm not sure.. I got the idea that Bobby was just hoping the hour
would be over.

I must admit that he was way to enthustiatic at times. But I am thinking
would he bring out new recipes for us to try? The only Indian foods I ever
seen show are being done from the western view.

Ripa was a complete disastor on the "Next Star" show. She couldn't
even touch a fish.

My experience with Indian food has been mixed. Most restaurants offer
poverty style buffets with little chopped up pieces of meat as if it
were too expensive to actually serve a decent portion!

But actually, the gentleman this morning did seem relaxed and
"americanized". I didn't not like him, just thought Bobby was
surprised at his energy level.

Cheers

' looking forward to tonights show...

Couple of friends of mine had Fulbrights in various parts of India.
They state that there was seldom any meat and what they missed most
was chewing. The flavors were great, but almost all cooked food (other
than naan or roti) was gravy-like.
