Well color me shocked. Paula Dean has Type II diabetes. Who knew
that eating massive amounts of sugar and butter were bad for you.
Normally I would wish her all the best except she chose to keep it a
secret for 3 YEARS. All while selling her unhealthy cooking to a
gullible public that licked the frosting bowl right along with her.
Now she comes out on the same day as she began promoting the Danish
pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, manufacturers of the diabetes
medication Victoza. Maybe a long time ago her Southern charm was
genuine, now it's easy to see it's just a means to an end; money money
money. Shame on you Paula and you too Food Network.
