Question about Elena and tonight's episode

died before Felicity went "back in time"...but she was alive when
Felicity "returned"? Or did she dream that, too? But I thought they
were at Elena's funeral before she went to Noel's wedding?

Elena in the past tense, so she didn't seem to realize that Elena's death
was also part of the altered present.

i guess the guy who was doing the spell did something to make elena still
alive. whatever it was i just wish they had acknowledged it instead of just
showing it to us. it was still a good ending though.

she most certainly WAS dead -
that's why felicity became distant towards ben - why ben cheated with
claire -
which is partly why she went on to get so drunk that night when she was
"sick"...
i am very disappointed by this one glitch in an otherwise satisfying finale.

1) See my post, "A Possible explanation" were I point out that the
information we were given regarding Elena et al, was giving as part of
a recording she was making within the dream sequence. Hence, if it
was a dream, nothing given in that dream sequence can be taken as
fact. Indeed the rift betweem Ben and Feleicity itself may have been
due to other reasons since we only learn of the affair as part of the
same tape recording.
2) TV Guide article pointed out by another person on this site says
that there were scenes that were cut which explain Elena's
resurrection.

I thought of this too, but then that means that the last episode of
"real" stuff was the graduation episode where Ben followed Felicity.
So then everything after that would be a dream. So why was Ben
apologizing to felicity? The Claire thing was part of the dream too.
Maybe he did something else to upset her? Or maybe that really
happened and she dreamed about it later. I know I sometimes dream
about things that really happened. Arg! This is too confusing.

I am pretty sure that Elen'a funeral was 6 months before the wedding.
In the winter and the wedding was in the Spring. Felicity said
something about how it all changed between her and Ben after the
funeral, and that several months had passed, that was when he cheated
with Clair. I really wished they had done something better with this.
Will there be new episodes in the Fall on WE or just reruns?

Then Noel has to be dead too. We can't have it both ways!
If the explanation was cut from the episode for time, why
don't JJ and Matt explain exactly what happened in a way
that makes sense? Maybe they should post the script or
the clips that were cut. Or maybe on the future DVD set?

Elena situation has me scratching my head as well. When I think I

Anyway, I decided to finally post because Jorabi mentioned "the future
DVD set". Is this a for sure thing? because if so, I'd be so happy.
I don't get the WE channel and probably won't be able to by next fall
so I can't tape all the episodes. Please give me any details on a DVD
set if there is really going to be one. Thanks!

DVD set. But there have been many posts asking for the
producers to release it and in an online chat, JJ Abrams
said he would love to see it and that we should write to
Disney/Touchstone if you want them to release a set. Many
worse series with less of a following have come out, so I
don't see a reason why they wouldn't do it.
