spring and summer rather than the fall. and those aren't on the major
networks, but on cable.
i've been catching up on old brit shows at the library. (whole section
for brit tv/movies). this week: second sight (last one), sharpe's
eagle, north and south, a fine romance (first four eps) and monarch of
the green - series 1.

Most pissed off that there won't be a new Dr Who series next year

Sharpes ok, historically dodgy and the books are, by and large, better.

Amazon unbox downloads over Tivo have almost supplanted Netflix in the
house, the wife has not yet really taken to the new Youtube over Tivo
feature.

i have a recorderable dvd player. i'm just too lazy to set it. and
since most of the shows i like are online anyway and with less
commercials it's just as easy to watch them there.

most of the dvds watched here come from the library. i'm never in that
big of a hurry to watch a movie that i can't wait for the dollar

I really like the books, but the show looks iffy. For some reason,
they felt the need to add explicit sex scenes, which the books don't
have (they're quite genteel).

No, once you're digital, and Comcast just switched a while back. They don't
charge me for the Cablecards, and with the second dual tuner box I could
give back the cablebox we had in the bewdroom.
The Bedroom unit I put on the $99 a year plan, and the Living Room unit
will probably go on it too.
Remember the HD units do over the Air HD as well so if you live somewhere
with decent TV reception all you pay is the Tivo subscription to cover the
guide information.
When we eventually move back to Texas, I am pondering going all OTA, as I
DFW is mostly low flat plain, and TV reception is pretty good with just
rabbit ears.

Could be, I gave away a Series 2 on the fourth of July, and promised my

I was talking to my Geordie sister-in-law about the Keeg-run yesterday.
Mind you as a Brum fan our board isn't much better,we're in desperate
need of some defensive players but the board won't spring for them and
are letting other players go for a song.
We've had some great loan players but will get nowhere if they don't sign
them to get some stability and talent in the team.
