What a great concept for a sci-fi series! The Earth can no longer
support life and humans travel to another "Earthlike" planet to begin
anew! With decent writers and a decent production budget, it could be
fantastic!

I agree, the new Earth 2 series should first be in 16:9 format, and contain a new story line, I would watch it . The original was great , so maybe it could be a follow up to the original series like a rescue team or something. I'm game.

hmmm a continuation of a tv show that came out 23 years ago that hardly anyone knows about? it would have to be really compelling to convince people that it is worth watching
