A Due South fan code?

I was just thinking about the U2 fan code I use:

and I was wondering if anyone's ever come up with a similar fan code for Due
South?
It could cover things like:
~ Favourite character (and how much you drool over them);
~ Preference for old Ray or new Ray;
~ How much DS fanfic you write and read;
~ Whether you like DS slash;
~ Membership of the Vigs / Anti-Vigs / AVAVA / VINE;
~ Number of Keeperships;
~ Merchandise (do you own all the videos, CDs etc - and if not, is it just
because you live somewhere that doesn't sell the vids?);
~ Viewing habits - how often do you watch the show these days?;
~ Net presence (owning a fan site, membership of NGs and mailing lists etc);
~ Conversions - how many people have you made into DS fans?
~ How many Due South conventions (RCW 139 etc) you've been to;
~ Favourite episode....
Those are just a few ideas off the top of my head. Does anyone have any ideas
for other stuff that could be included? And is there anyone who'd be prepared
to design the fan code properly? I don't think I really have enough free time
to do it myself, although I'd certainly be willing to help out and offer
suggestions/improvements.
Or has someone already designed a DS fan code and I'm just wasting my time? *g*

favourite character:
+++ In an ideal world, we'd be married with kids and never out of bed.
++ Pretty major drooling going on, but my significant other is still top of my
list.
+ He/she is pretty cute.
= I don't drool over him/her, but I'm amused when others do.
- I think drooling over TV characters is stupid.
(An example piece of favourite character code would be FT+++ for someone whose
whole world basically revolves around Renfield Turnbull. Nah, I don't have
anyone particular in mind. *g*)

2) Ray Preference
=================
R--- David Marciano's Ray Vecchio will always be the one and only Real Ray.
R-- I don't hate Ray K but I'm firmly in the Marciano camp.
R- If I was forced to choose, I'd go with the original Ray.
R= I swing both Rays - either one is fine by me!
R+ I like them both but I have a slight preference for New Ray.
R++ The original Ray was OK but I much prefer Callum Keith Rennie.
R+++ Kowalski's the only Ray for me. David Marciano, yuck!

The most important is there, Turnbull, so I'm happy. And you know, I'm
not hurting by the fact he's on the bottom ; ) I suggest you keep
Turnbull on the list = ) LOL!

F I'm not very familiar with fanfic but it seems a nice idea.

of my fandom.
F++ I'm very into DS fanfic. I've written a large amount of it, and regularly
read other people's.
F+++ I would probably shrivel up and die if I couldn't have my daily dose of
DS fic. I think I enjoy the fanfic even more than I enjoy the show!

I write alternative universe DS fanfic and hardly, if ever, read DS
fanfic if it's not AU, do you think that means that I'd shrivel up and
die? Because if you were to ask me, I'd tell you DS AU is the only
thing I write and though some might say I just write trash ... I think

K+ I have between 1 and 3 Due South Keeperships.
K++ I'm a Keeper of 4 to 6 Due South-related things. What fun!
K+++ I have 7 or more DS Keeperships and I can hardly keep track of them all!

7) Merchandise
==============
M-- I watch the show but I have no Due South merchandise whatsoever.
M- I taped episodes off the TV but I don't have any official merchandise.
M I've got a tiny DS collection, maybe a book and a video or two.
M+ I have a reasonable collection - several books, videos and CDs, but I'm
still missing a few official items.
M++ I have a complete collection - I bought all the videos, the books, both
soundtrack CDs and at least one of Paul's albums, plus I've kept tons of
magazine articles.
M+++ I collect absolutely everything that's even vaguely DS-related! In
addition to all the official stuff, I've got dreamcatchers, a year's supply of
pemmican, Mountie dolls, a sweat lodge in my apartment and my very own 1971
mint condition green Buick Riviera....
Add $ to the end if your collection is limited by, for example, living in
America where most official videos are unavailable, or simply not having enough
money to buy more stuff. (eg. M-$)

8) Viewing Habits
=================
VH-- I barely even know what Due South is. I think I caught a handful of
episodes once. Can't remember what the characters were called....
VH- I used to watch the show but I've totally lost interest in it now. I'm
much more passionate about my new favourite show.
VH I don't watch DS much now that it's finished, but I still have an interest
in it.
VH+ I still watch DS when it's on TV, and I watch my videos of it fairly
often.
VH++ I watch my Due South videos a LOT. My love for the show hasn't lessened
at all over time.
VH+++ I watch my DS videos practically every day, and daydream about the show
when I'm not watching it. I absolutely can't get enough.... if I could stick TV
monitors inside my eyelids and watch it 24 hours a day, I would.

9) Net Presence

N-- The Internet is the root of all evil. Get it away from me!
N- I'm not very interested in reading about Due South on the Internet - I'm
happy just watching the show.
N I look at the odd Due South website from time to time but that's about it.
N+ I read one DS newsgroup or mailing list but I'm not a very active
contributor. I may or may not have my own DS fan site.
N++ I have a DS fan site and I post on more than one forum or mailing list. I
understand all those weird things that get discussed in alt.tv.due-south.
N+++ I have at least one DS website and I think I'm on every DS newsgroup and
mailing list in existence. Every DS fan on the Internet probably knows my name.

10) Conversions
===============
CS-- I suck at converting people. Every time I try to show someone the joys of
Due South, I fail to impress them. *hangs head in shame*
CS- I haven't managed to convert anyone to DS fandom, but then again I've
never really tried.
CS A few people have started to like the show after watching it with me, but I
can't take much of the credit.
CS+ I've succeeded in actively converting a handful of people to DS fandom.
Yay me!
CS++ I've converted a lot of people, and some of them have become really big
fans like me. Woohoo!
CS+++ I only have to speak to people for 5 minutes and they instantly become
Due South obsessives. In fact I've started a new religious cult. Dozens of us
roam around the Yukon wearing robes and Stetsons, chanting "Paul Gross is God"
and worshipping any caribou we come across.

11) Conventions

CT-- Conventions are for losers. You people are as bad as Trekkies!
CT- I've never really fancied going to a Due South convention. I'm not that
big a fan.
CT I haven't attended any DS cons but I would have liked to. I'm so jealous of
anyone who ever went to RCW 139!
CT+ I've been to one DS con that was happening near me.
CT++ I've been to several DS cons and/or travelled a very long way to attend
one.
CT+++ Attended? I've ORGANISED them!
Add ? to the end if you would have attended a convention (or more conventions)
if you'd only known they were happening (eg. CT?).

- thanks! When I get a spare few minutes I'll put all of this code together
and stick it on a web page, so people can give more feedback (eg. suggestions
for other categories) and start adding their fan code to NG sigs and stuff....

Ummmm..... well, AU still counts as fic. I never specified what *kind* of fic
it was referring to. So if you live and breathe that particular kind of fic,

As for those who can't possibly pick a favourite episode, I suggest just
writing ??? instead of the 3-letter episode codes....

Oh you didn't really have to. I don't think anyone else feels the way
I do. Though, you know, if you missed Paul's tongue hanging out and

I think I'm obsessed with it in that I write it. That my characters
live it. So, of course, to be difficult I'll have to have two rulings
on this = ) I don't read fanfic, I write it and am obsessed with that

Computability & Decidability). I haven't even started the C revision yet, even
thought the exam is on Wednesday. The other exam is on Thursday and it's going

I just thought the following was interesting, and that you might as well.
While doing the ritual work slacker surfing the net routine, I came across
the People Magazine online "where are they now" column. While reading the
'Peter Deluise" segment (work is eraaallly boring) I noticed the caption
under the picture, and it was "Peter DeLuis with Fiance Ann Marie Loder
and their dog, Maggie"
Huh, was all I could say.

Depends what exactly you have the person doing ... I've already read
brainwashing NC17 and quite frankly it made me nauseous, not so much
squeamish. Maybe it was badly written, yeah I'm kind of sure it was
badly written. The whole series wasn't ... Terrific. It lacked a point
and went on for too long.
