I haven't seen any posted lately, but if you request on

Q: What the hell is a DH?
A: Apparently, loony boards have loony shorthand. DH is Darling (or Dear)
Husband, DS is Darling Son and DD is Darling Daughter. While I have no
problem with shorthand, the "darling" part bugs me. It's only needed if
there's an alternative it needs to be separated from, ie. BD (Bitch
Daughter) or CH (Cheating Husband) or FSKS (Future Serial Killer Son).
