Hi All!

I am sort of a newbie here, I love to read all the spoiler's and posts
here all the time though! And I have been a loooooooooooooooooong time viewer
& fan of DOOL ever since I can remember! I am 30 year's old now, and I've been
watching probably since being in my mom's whomb, just to give u an indication
of just how long I've been watching!

I was just wondering something recently. I don't remember if Patch &
Kayla had a love song! Like how; Bo & Hope, has "Up where u belong", or
something like that?! Every time I hear there song, I always think of them on
the radio.

But just recently I was trying to bring someone who hasn't really been
watching the show recently, but watched it back then, when they were on the
show I guess. And she said that their song was a U2 song, but I don't remember
now whether they did or not?! I was wondering if anybody could help me out
with this?! I would highly appreciated! Thank's in advance!
This is why I wish the soapnet channel would play Day's from the very
beginning, like they do Ryan's Hope sometimes?! It stink's that they don't
play anything else other than ABC stuff?!

I thought Bo and Hope used "Tonight , I Celebrate My Love For You." Did they
use both of them? Or am I totally off base?

No, they used that for many years.

And Patch and Kayla's was "Lady In Red."

Okay, now somebody tell me who they played Chris Isaac's "I Don't Wanna Fall In
Love" for.

Patch and Kayla's was "Lady In Red."

No, it was lady in red.
It was 'their' love song surely was not The Rose.

Wrong they played THE ROSE numerous times for them. Their symbol was A
YELLOW ROSE....

Chris Issak (yes, he actually spells it with a "K") does not have a
song that was played on DOOL called "I Don't Wanna Fall In Love".
That's part of the lyrics, but the song itself is called "Wicked
Game", off his album "Heart Shaped World". If you're going to toss out
trivia questions, you might as well do it right.

Don't know off the top of my head who the couple was. I'm picturing a
blonde-ish looking woman, though. I think it was either Kim and Shane
or Carrie and Austin's song, but I'm not 100% positive.

They may have played other songs for Patch and Kayla, but yes, "their song" was
definately Lady in Red.

Yes, I should have know that, I have the album. Duh! One of my most favorite
songs. I played it so often when we were houseboating that they made me go up
on the roof to listen to it.

It wasn't either of them. I'm thinking it was Bo and Carly at the beginning of
their romance. Help, somebody!

That was for Jack. Jack had just killed Harper to save Steve. He had also
just opened up to Jennifer. So, they had a great final scene with Jack
flashing back to him raping Kayla, then his romantic moments with Jennifer,
then killing Harper, back to Jennifer. All the while the song was playing.

They played it again right after Jennifer slapped Jack and called him a
rapist. They were engaged, and she had been raped by Lawrence, but had not
told anyone. She flashed onto Lawrence kissing her, as Jack was kissing her.
They were at a romantic lodge at the time. While driving home in his limo,
the song plays.

I went to Dustin's because it was bugging me...lol! The song was for
Jen and Jack, according to Dustin. I was right about a blonde, but I
was *way* off base with the couple. I didn't think such a trendy top
40 song would be for Jack. He's such a unique guy, so I thought the
song completely didn't fit.

YES! That is a most beautiful song. I still listen to it sometimes,
too. My favorite fashion model was in the video. Helena Christensen.
She has the coolest looking big greenish/hazel eyes. Hard to tell in
the video, though, since Chris filmed it in black & white. Does he
still have his own t.v. show on cable or did it get dropped? Anyone
know? I only saw it once.

The very first song they used for them was a Jay Gruska tune called "If your
heart comes out tonight". That was played frequently in their early days,
the first time in Stockholm, and again through the winter of 86/87 before
"The Lady in Red" became more of their theme song. In the fall of 87, after
Kayla married Jack, we heard "Watching Over You" a lot.

I also associate "The Woman in Me", "Hopeless Romantic" and "Goodbye, My
Friend" with Steve and Kayla.

I remember "The Woman in Me" from the time they first made love on the
apartment roof on a hot summer night. Afterwards, didn't they play a song that
went something like "Never thought that I could love". They haven't had hot
love scenes like theirs in a long time.

Yes, "Never thought that I could love" (Dan Hill) was played just the one
time, the morning after Steve and Kayla's first time on the roof. There
were a number of 'one time only' songs, didn't bother to list them
(although I betcha I remember them all!)

It was the "Lady in Red" Kayla wore a red dress to their special data at, i
believe at that time it was called "Doug's Place"....

Patch always brought Kayla Yellow Roses, I don't ever remember it being
their Love Song....

Nope, it was at the Cheatin' Heart, and it was a fantasy sequence. Steve
always imagined himself without his patch in his dreams (Kayla kept it on
when she imagined them together). The first time they played the Lady in
Red sequence, it was right before Steve was going to go to jail for killing
Duke (he was protecting Adrienne). He was at the Heart and imagining he and
Kayla together.

And it was Blondie's (Neil named it that for Liz) after it was Doug's Place,
and then Wings after that (Nick named it for Eve). Always named after some
girl. ;)

Steve and Kayla hung out at Shenanigans a lot too. That was run by Chris
Kostichek, played by Josh Taylor.

Jack and Jennifer had at least three, WICKED GAMES, ALL I NEED, and
WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL!

On the boat, the only song played was "Hopeless Romantic" (Justin sang it
before the vows). Then, as they rowed away, it was "If your Heart comes out
tonight".

I absolutely agree that "The Lady in Red" is the song most people associate
with them though!

Actually, the first time we heard the Rose was when Kayla gave Steve a cook
book for Christmas in 1986 and she had written a passage from the song
inside..Steve then read it aloud.

We didn't hear it again until it played when Jack raped Kayla over a year
later, in January 1988.
