That was the worst produced program that I have ever seen! The announcer was
either announcing the wrong people or awards that had allready been given!
And it was soooo bad the way the Best acctress award was handled! The award
went to Susan Flannery from the Bold and the Beautiful but the people
presenting the award were also from that show and screamed her name out of
excitment and you couldn't really undrestand the last name they said....the
"All My Children" music started to play so Susan Lucci thought she'd won and
started to go get her award. How embarrassing! CBS should be ashamed! This
was a VERY poorly produced program!
JMO!

it was strange. As for Justin & Adrienne, I wasn't even paying attention
and I clearly herd him say "Flannery". So it's the music guy's fault. I
was laughing my ass off at that whole thing though cause it was HYSTERICAL.
But it wasn't the only annoying thing.

The best show videos were icky! Combining them with music videos?! EEEEW!

And Guiding Light fans were a bit ticked off at the shortness of the 65th
ann tribute (something bout the camera going so fast you couldn't even make
out the returning cast members on the stage).

I'm curious where the time went this year. Cause last year there were all
of those awful little numbers in it, like one abut Food and the
barelymanaged to finish on time. And this year they had none of them and
still ran out of time to show the clips of the best actors and actresses.

Why is it that DOOL is never recognized for best soap, actor or actress? What
can we as fans do to get the show nominated in the future? Who are the
industry people who nominate the show? We need to lobby them.

Was it me or did Susan look terrible? Her hair and outfit were not feminine
looking.

if the show is bad, it doesn't deserve a nomination. And I can tell you,
having watched All My Children & Young And The Restless casually last year,
and As The World Turns regularly, Days of our Lives did not deserve a
nomination for Best Show or Best Writing and thankfully they didn't get one.
They didn't deserve one for 2000 either. They stopped getting nominated
after 1999 cause the show took a downward turn.

Jesse McCartney was robbed.

and she's so fake. They tell her she's won and she goes from looking like
she doesn't give a damn to looking honored. That whole hand over her mouth
thing was such an act(something she can't even do on her show)

Unfortunately, since CBS and ABC have twice as many shows on the air and
therefore twice as many voters, the NBC shows are very poorly represented.
It's ridiculous that two actors as bad as Brian Presley and Jason Young were
nominated and even more of a joke that Young won. Wouldn't Kyle Lowder have
been a much better nominee than either of those two?

My opinions might have changed, but not the fact that I am right.

Susan Flannery is awesome. She is not the type of person who gets all caught up
in the hype of winning; she thinks of it merely as acknowledging someone for
the good work they've done. In her speeches, she's always very appreciative and
thankful for honoring her, but she doesn't get all teary-eyed. That's just the
kind of person she is, but she still feels honored. Besides, we don't even know
what her initial reaction was because the camera was on La Lucci the whole
time. Flannery is a fantastic actress, by the way. Her and actress Katherine
Kelly Lang from B&B can turn anything in to gold and they work amazingly
together onscreen.

She is a terrible actress. I watched that soap for awhile, after she
won, just to see her, and I found her unbelievably bad. She didn't
win for 20 year for a reason.

I thought she was marvelous as Laura Horton. I've never watched her
do another soap.

I did enjoy her as Laura Horton. I haven't followed her career much after she
left DOOL eons ago so was surprised to see her looking so unglam on Friday
night.

I saw the first 5 minutes before I went out last night.
My mother watched it and said it was like watching a parody of an awards show.
