....and I wasn't even watching when he played Bo. Please, someone bring him
back. Peter Reckell is all washed up (figuratively; literally he doesn't
look as if he's washed in months). By the way, why did he go by the name
Robert Kelker-Kelly? Did he take his wife's name or something?

Chances are his mom's a Feminist and wanted it that way. He's not married to
a Kelker or a Kelly.

His wife is Miriam Parrish, a girl who's about 12 years his junior and
portrayed Sami's best friend on DOOL several years ago. She was in a
storyline where her father was molesting her and then he got found out and
the character just kind of disappeared.

I agree that he's a decent actor and is better looking than Reckell. Word
has it in the industry, though, that Reckell gets along better with his
co-workers and the females in his own age bracket apparently dislike
Kelker-Kelly.

Especially Kristian Alfonso. Word has it that she's really got it in for
that dude. Apparently she thinks he's a sexist creep who's only after one
thing. I've never fully believed that theory, however, because Alfonso got
Victor Alfieri (Franco Kelly) fired from the show merely because she just
did not wish to continue dating him. (This was prior to her recent second
marriage. She got Alfieri when she was still a single woman.)

Seems to me that Kristian has an issue with a few guys who've been on the
show and it probably has to do with them getting a lot of screen time and
stealing the spotlight from *her rather than with them being "sexist pigs"
or old boyfriends who "won't leave her alone".

I believe RKK admitted to having a cocaine addiction while he was on the
show. Nonetheless, Alfonso has hardly endeared herself to the men she's had
on the show. She's gotten at least three fired. Don't forget Jeff Griggs,
the guy who had a gay porno past. When she found out, she told Corday to get
rid of him. I don't understand why she has such power on the show. Her glory
days as a supercouple are over. Her face looks like a Holocaust camp
survivor. She's not that great of an actress.

Dead on, you're right! I had *so* forgotten about poor Jeff Griggs, (Did he
portray Jude?) but I remember old posts here about the situation, and you're
right, she really did that guy in. The only thing I can come up with
regarding her power is seniority, Icebreaker.

The only times in my life that I've ever had a boss come up to me and
somebody else I work with in private and ask for our personal advice on
whether he should fire somebody was when we had more seniority than somebody
else or when we helped to train that person and the person wasn't "cutting
the mustard" so to speak. (And let me tell you...it SUCKS to have to say
"Yes, I think you should fire so and so". You have to be honest, but it
feels like shit later on to know you were cornered that way.)

I used to think if you were in the same age group as your boss, they'd ask
for your advice about stuff like that in a "Hey, you're my pal" type of way
rather than to ask a younger or much older person, but it's all about
Seniority, reliability, attendance, etc. looking back on it.

She's got a history of longevity with the show and that scares other people
and higher-ups use it as a bargaining tool. They'll never ask Farah Fath
(Mimi) for her thoughts on getting rid of someone, but if Alfonso bitches
enough that she wants somebody of little importance like Brandt or Alfieri
gone as of tomorrow, she'll get her wish.

You're right about looks. Alf's looks have nothing to do with it. She lost
her looks over 13 years ago. They're of little consequence in decision
making at the studio IMO.

Well, somebody on this show, Miriam Parrish, who portrayed Jamie Caldwell,
must have liked him. She married him. If he was honestly *that* awful, why
wasn't he fired after 2 weeks or why didn't he reach his breaking point with
these women he supposedly didn't get along with and quit *SOONER*?

RKK and Lisa were VERY close at one point, good friends after that. You
didn't mention Kristian Alfonso, who got him fired, right after he signed a
brand new multi-year contract & bought a new house. You didn't mention any
of his leading ladies at GH either. Or people he worked with in primetime.
When he was young, he didn't even like himself. He's talked about that &
owned up over it many times. Like many people, he grew up. Oh, and, second
go round at AW, no one had any problem with him.

KA had Jeff Griggs fired, too.

Neither of the two of them did anything to her to cause that to happen.

You mean other than having done gay porn? I don't know what her technical
reason was for getting Griggs fired. I don't think she would ever publicly
state she was concerned about kissing scenes with Griggs (at the time wasn't
her character, oh geez, hand cuffed to a bed in a little shack outside of
Aremid and forced to kiss whatever his character's name was? And, now that I
think back on it, wasn't she presumed dead, but Bo kept insisting he felt
Fancy Face's presence and that she must be alive? Geez, where have I heard
ALL OF THAT before?) since it's politically incorrect to have public
concerns about being around people with DEADLY VIRUSES. And I think AIDS is
a pet-cause of Deidre Hall.

But I'd really love to see Alfonso hit the bricks. I'm sick of her
effortless acting and her skeletal remains. I've seen shrunken heads in
African villages that looked healthier than hers.

You mean other than have the audacity to try to have a mainstream career
after having had a gay porn & porn career?!!! Yes, presumably she couldn't
tolerate that & wouldn't tolerate that.

Define publicly. She said it. She didn't call a press conference to say it.

> ... since it's politically incorrect to have public

> concerns about being around people with DEADLY VIRUSES.

Not that political correctness had anything to do with it, but, actors
should have concerns about what contact is dangerous & what's not -
potentially for anyone they work with. As well as from the Kraft table, come
to think of it. The world's always been a dangerous place. Now we know more
& can inform ourselves more & make intelligent choices instead of passively
letting things happen & attributing them to luck or superstition. Actors are
acting, not doing the real thing, and if they don't know how to do that
credibly they're cheating some real actor out of salary & benefits.

No I didn't. I did no such thing. I don't imply squat. I either say it or I
don't. My post STATED that KA was just vindictive enough to get him fired
because she's so freaking ingnorant that she'd be willing to believe she
could get AIDS from him just by kissing him. What made matters worse was
that he didn't have HIV or AIDS, she just assumed because he did gay porn
that he must have it. That's why I ended by post by calling on TPTB to fire
her! I cast no aspersions on Jeff Griggs, didn't suggest he had HIV or AIDS,
no did I ridicule anyone with it.

To suggest I did otherwise is to flirt dangerously close with libel.

I can't believe you'd go there in this way about this. But, if so, we're
here in Usenet having an ongoing conversation. Two people, me & one another,
seem to have had a drastically different impression of what you meant in a
post than what you NOW say is what you meant. If you think that's a case for
libel, I completely disagree with you. But, there's also no way it's worth
the hassle if that's your approach to Usenet discussions. And, to that
extent, I would really appreciate it if you would stop defying Usenet
convention by changing your Username constantly. It makes it impossible to

I'd forgotten about her getting him fired. And, of course, the rumors about
women she's gotten fired are less clear. I always figured that Alfieri only

Exactly. Uh, DUH! That's what I said. From her perspective#1 she thought she
could get AIDS from him just by kissing him, assuming, incorrectly, that he
must have AIDS since he did gay porn and #2 was too chicken spit to say the
real reason why she wanted him gone.

I was indeed mentally crippled and drowned in depression by your fight all
day. I went to the grocery this evening and heard a married couple fighting
and I had to steal gumdrops out of the bulk bins and quickly stick them in
my ears to block out the noise.

The couple of course was elderly, was in hover round wheel chairs, were
swatting each other with celery stalks and they both had osteoporosis, but
their fight sounded *EXACTLY* like you guys. It was uncanny.
