And isn't that convenient that JUST where Gina made a whole in the wall, there
was a metal plate blocking her exit? Odd.....

but it would be way to easy, the writers have to make it
hard on the characters and the viewers. So they can't go
through that hole even if they want to.

Good one. ;-)

And didn't PG escape by digging out the mortar and
pushing a stone from the wall (behind the tapestry)?
So, if they'd just lift up the tapestry,
wouldn't they be able to get out??

:-)
acp, who is 4, 8hour tapes, behind in her DOOL viewing.

No, because that's where Kurt put the metal plate once he found out how she got
out. I'm assuming the plate covers the whole space where mortar could be
removed again.

Oh. I thought that was always there. :-(
Well, if PG could dig out mortar and stone,
couldn't Stephie and Hope dig out another one
even faster?? Did Kurt do someting to whole wall?

They put a steel door behind that hole in the wall. Kurt passes food to
them through it. Well.......he did before he fell off the roof and
ended up unconscience on the ground.......

morning. Still haven't watched Mondays show to know for sure....

Let's see, its February sweeps, some of Salem now suspects (in John's case,
prays) Hope has been gone for nearly a year instead of just the last few
months and that Gina was there instead; only 2 people know for sure which one
was where and when; one of them is Stephano and he never tells, the other is
Kurt. The guy who plays Kurt's contract is up in the summer and we have
another sweeps period in May.

Hmmm, coma anyone? followed by requisite deathbed confession about the time
Hope's due to pop?
psk

I've started an exercise program. I do 20 sit-ups each morning.

That may not sound like a lot, but you can only hit that snooze button
so many times.

Maybe there is a simple answer to this question that I am overlooking,
but if Stefano could send out the morse code signal for "SOS", why
couldn't he include a message about where they were trapped? Maybe
the only letters Stefano knows in morse code are "S" and "O".

I don't think Stefano actually knows the morse code. He is just making
beeps on the telegraph.

I was wondering about this myself.
Like you, the only explanation I could think of is that
Steph only knows the signal for SOS, but does not actually
know Morse Code.
